Alternatives A and B are very similar in some respects: they both move the wide travel lanes, parallel parking on both sides of the street, a southbound, separated from the travel lanes, and ample sidewalk space to accommodate pedestrians and outdoor dining space. The main difference between the two is that Concept A keeps the bike lane on the left (west) side of the street underground. Concept B moves the bike lane to right (east) side of the street and keeps the utility pole lines in place.
