FUN FESTIVALS FOR EVERY SEASON
Every President’s Day weekend, head to Oakland Winter Fest (oaklandmd. com) for ice-carving demonstrations, illuminated ice sculptures, carriage rides and more!
For classic summer fun that includes carnival rides, farm shows and craft exhibits, try the Garrett County Agriculture Fair (garrettcountyfair. org), which is set to take place July 29 – August 5, 2023.
Garrett County’s favorite Christmas extravaganza is the Festival of Trees (gcfot.org). It usually takes place
on the last weekend in November
and features fun family activities like Breakfast with Santa, Frosty’s Funland and Mrs. Claus’ Bakery. Proceeds benefit the Dove Center.
