400 West Elm Street Apartments
J.F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors performed all of the HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm work for this 13-story, 445,000-square-foot mid-rise residential building. The building offers 348 residential suites with numerous amenities which include lounges, fitness centers, pools, theaters, and yoga studios to list a few. Due to the sheer size of the project and constantly evolving scope, the expertise and experience that Sobieski brought to the table was invaluable. Utilizing all the latest design software and programs, they were able to accurately model the entire site to help minimize field conflicts throughout construction. In addition to the installation of over 35 rooftop mechanical units, Sobieski’s team was responsible for the successful layout of over 250,000 linear feet of duct work and piping throughout the site/building. Exceptional allocation of resources
and manpower provided by Sobieski’s team allowed for a smooth installation process and successful implementation of all systems. Their coordinated efforts throughout the life of the job helped create a state-of-the-art residential complex that people will talk about for years to come.
