This project is an excellent example of the balance of historic restoration with the need for a private owner to upgrade to 21st custom-home expectations. The exterior of the house has been meticulously restored with great respect to bringing each long-lost architectural feature. The interior spaces have been updated to current expectations of contemporary living while respecting significant historic details where they occurred.

This project is an excellent example of the ability of BPGS to coordinate the complex set
of construction challenges
that one typically found in
large multi-family residential complexes of this scale. The ability to master the podium construction methodology, which places a residential use above a commercial/retail
use, is a notable achievement. The coordination of the main exterior finish types also shows an excellent ability to coordinate multiple specialty trades.
