BR 3-507 on US 113 over Iron Branch
This project by Mumford &
Miller involved the replacement
of a 100-year-old bridge on U.S. Route 113 in Millsboro over Iron Branch. Mumford & Miller utilized accelerated bridge construction
all pre-cast concrete structural elements to minimize construction closures on the busy highway. In spite of a number of unanticipated conditions that were encountered during construction, Mumford & Miller completed the project within the original project schedule.
