POW MIA Memorial Parkway
The POW MIA Parkway included construction of 3.5 miles of new roadway, including two new bridges
to span existing roadway, railways and wetlands. Bicycle facilities, DART services and multi-use paths were also constructed, interconnecting multiple park facilities, commercial centers and residential communities. The purpose of the project was to improve mobility across the Norfolk Southern Railroad for all modes of travel, to connect West Dover to the US 13 corridor. The project required very detailed phasing plans that could only be executed with cooperation and planning by all team members, and work was completed on time and on budget.
