The South Academy Residence Hall
was, in a way, an experiment for the University to combine the traditional residence hall aesthetic with a modern and unique student experience. The ability to combine modern amenities such as flat-screen message monitors, glass projection marker boards, and modern furniture into a classical setting in a way that seamlessly honors the University’s past and contributes to its future shows how truly successful this project was at achieving its original goal. Communication and attention to detail were the keys to maintaining a high level of quality control on the project despite aggressive schedule restraints.
