HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
JFS Delaware is celebrating 125 years of
providing dedicated counseling and support
services to the community. JFS has grown and
evolved since our founding in 1899. A century
ago, our focus was the Jewish community. In
modern times JFS serves not only the Jewish
community, but any Delawareans who need
our help. Our positive impact has multiplied.
And we have become a highly professionalized
and effective service organization — with a
compassionate heart and dedication to making the world a better place.
That remains unchanged. Today, JFS offers many diverse services and
programs, serving families, youth, older adults, caregivers, and refugees.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
You make it possible for JFS to help those facing adversity access the
compassionate and comprehensive care they need and deserve. You help
new and expecting mothers access specialized care to navigate perinatal and
postpartum depression; you help children fi nd the tools and language to cope
with their anxiety; you help refugees and other immigrants integrate and make
a home in their new communities. Visit jfsdelaware.org/donate to give.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our work is made possible by dedicated volunteers like YOU!
Volunteers supplement the professional care provided by JFS by
fostering a sense of community, building relationships, and extending your
skills and kindness to JFS clients. Visit jfsdelaware.org/volunteer for more info.
