JULIA%u2019S LIGHT FOUNDATION My children would not have had presents for Christmas without Julia%u2019s Light support. %u2014Delaware recipient of the Julia%u2019s Light Toy and Item Drive Sarah Acuna Founder & Board President HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT In honor of our daughter, Julia Grayce, who passed away during childbirth in 2016, ourorganization, Julia%u2019s Light, strives to support families who have endured the loss of ababy/babies through advocacy work, community events, and monthly support group sessions.We hold an event on Pregnancy and infant loss Awareness Day. It is a special candlelighting ceremony that gives families a chance to connect and honor their babies together. In addition, we share Julia%u2019s bright light with other children by holding an annual toy and item drive.GIVING OPPORTUNITIESJulia%u2019s Light holds a toy and item drive every December. It supports children of migrant workers and refugees, providing new clothing and toys for the holidays. Our recipients participate in the Delaware Department of Education Migrant Education Program and St. Rocco Parish support services in Avondale, PA.
