GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Our contract with the State of Delaware, Division of Developmental Disabilities
Services (DDDS) currently covers approximately 93% of our costs. These funds
are much appreciated and make our program functional, but more is needed to
transform what we do into a best practice, a wonderful place to spend the day.
That other 7% which makes Forward Journey more than a place to just “park”
for the day– must come from other sources. Personal donations, grant awards,
an annual appeal, and several scheduled fundraising events throughout the year
all contribute to obtaining the needed support for programming expenses.

We realized how important it
was for our daughter to have
her own place to go and
her own people.
