Dr. Steven J. Corwin, President and CEO of NewYork‐Presbyterian and a Westchester native himself, leads a diverse team of more than 47,000 employees and affiliated physicians dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to our patients
and communities. Under his leadership, NYP

has advanced a culture centered on respect, teamwork, and recognition for the unique contribution that each member of our workforce makes to patient care.
NewYork‐Presbyterian’s team of talented providers and staff, who have committed
their lives to helping others, was called upon
for their skills and compassion over the past eight months like never before, as our region and country faced unparalleled challenges,
with health, social, and economic crises converging all at once. In his constant rounding, communicating, and video messages to staff throughout these crises, Dr. Corwin has inspired the NYP team to work each day, fully committed to upholding — and exceeding — the highest quality, safety and patient experience standards.
At the core of Dr. Corwin’s leadership has been the absolute priority that NewYork‐Presbyterian places on people — NYP’s patients, communities, and its entire team of dedicated employees
and physicians. NewYork‐Presbyterian, with
our partners at Columbia and Weill Cornell Medicine, is bringing world class health care to Westchester County.
