MICHAEL J. DOWLING
President and CEO
Northwell Health
NORTHWELL HEALTH
At Northwell, we strive to improve the health of the communities we serve
and are committed to providing the highest quality clinical care; educating the current and future generations of healthcare professionals; searching
for new advances in medicine through the conduct of biomedical research; promoting health education; and caring for the entire community regardless of the ability to pay. Since Michael Dowling became president and CEO of Northwell Health in 2002, he instilled a culture of innovation and transformation, which took center stage during the COVID‐19
crisis. Backed by teamwork, transparency and an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing, the culture Mr. Dowling established allowed Northwell to withstand being in the first COVID epicenter in the US. Northwell partnered with its internal and external communities, providing education about the coronavirus. Mr. Dowling also fortified the health system’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, working with
key stakeholders within Northwell and developing an expansive community health strategy that will continue to make a difference for our area’s most vulnerable.

President & CEO
Westchester Medical Center Health Network
At WMCHealth, each year a half million
of our friends and neighbors entrust
our team with their care. Our dedicated workforce — 13,000 strong — daily cares
for some of the region’s most severely ill and injured children and adults. Selfless, brave, innovative and tireless in caring for our patients, their families and each other, during the pandemic, our team collectively addressed one of the most daunting healthcare challenges of our lifetime. From every corner of WMCHealth, across 8 campuses and 10 hospitals and nearly 150
medical practice offices, our WMCHealth Heroes proved that we are truly Stronger Together. We drew added strength from the loyalty of our communities who rallied to support our WMCHealth workforce,
and patients. We have always known how important our mission and charge is to the communities we serve across 6,200 square miles of the Hudson Valley, and to see how our friends and neighbors stepped up to support our work has been a bright beacon for all of us.
