WESTCHESTER WORKS VALUE
VALUE: MORE THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS
Office space priced at less than half of that of New York City. An outstanding quality of life. A highly-skilled, talented and educated workforce.
Driven by visionary developers, businesses, investors and forward-thinking local governments, Westchester continues to align itself with sustained value through a host of smart growth development, renovation, conversion and transit-oriented development projects.

DEVELOPMENT
In White Plains, officials are looking forward to an 800,000 square-foot, 700-unit, multi-use, $275 million downtown development by Lennar – a proj- ect geared towards young professionals and empty- nesters, recently approved by the city’s Common Council. Officials believe that it will attract new resi- dents to the city, keep existing residents, as well as reinvigorate the White Plains business district. The project will include the replacement of the vacant Westchester Pavilion mall.
Meanwhile, demolition work is underway for the construction of a new apartment complex in downtown Yonkers. Contractors from RXR Larkin Towers LLC have razed the former Rising Media building at 25 Warburton Avenue to clear the site for a 442-unit building near the Saw Mill River. The $197 million building project, across from Van de Donck Park and a new river walk, will include two towers, a 539-space parking garage, as well as retail space, a gym and rooftop lawns.
