T
he Terminal Corporation
has announced that Frans
Zwanenburg joined the Termcorp
Team as Vice President of Sales and
Marketing effective April 16. With
28 years of experience in logistics
and transportation on a global level,
Zwanenburg developed extensive
knowledge of the metals markets
and various commodity exchanges
while serving since 2008 as General
Manager for the U.S. operations of
Pacorini Metals USA.
Born and raised in the Netherlands,
he attended Spieringshoek University
and is fluent in several languages.

Kuehne + Nagel’s Bargteil
Gets Centurion Award
K
enneth Bargteil with Kuehne + Nagel in Baltimore has been
named by the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders
Association of America (NCBFAA) as the recipient of the group’s
2013 Centurion Award. NCBFAA President Darrell Sekin noted that
Bargteil’s “boundless energy and incredible knowledge of this
business have long made him one of the NCBFAA’s most valuable
players and a tremendous asset to his industry colleagues.”
Following four consecutive two-year terms on the NCBFAA Board of
Directors and 10 years as Chairman of the Customs Committee, Bargteil
now serves as Chairman of the group’s Educational Institute and is in his
11th year on the Annual Conference Committee.
“Though his employer is a large broker/forwarder, Ken champions all
industry participants, including small and medium-sized firms, actively
soliciting thoughtful input from everyone involved in addressing an issue,”
Sekin said.
The Centurion Award was presented in April at the NCBFAA Annual
Conference in California.
