Chamber Committees Are a Great Way to Make Connections
The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI) offers a wide range of committees to help members pursue their personal and business interests. To get the most out of your membership, we encourage you to attend committee meetings and find the group that best fits what you’re looking for.
If you’re interested in attending a meeting or joining any of
the committees below, reach out to the Chamber staff listed at to get the conversation started.
The Emerging Leaders Committee strives to offer enthusiastic up-and-coming business professionals the opportunity to develop personally and professionally through networking opportunities, workshops and volunteerism.
“We rebranded from a young professionals’ group to ‘Emerging Leaders’ to provide an environment for business professionals
looking to grow, connect and collaborate amongst each other — regardless of their age or current position,” said Matt Bray, a sales and leasing professional at Swope Lees Commercial Real Estate, LLC who serves as the committee’s Chair.
Some of the committee’s events include Business After Hours networking, professional development workshops, an axe-throwing event, an annual summer BBQ, March Madness networking and
an annual Phillies networking tailgate, along with other various functions throughout the year.
“We aim to incorporate a charity whenever possible, and we are always open to suggestions of new opportunities to give back,” Bray said. For example, Emerging Leaders runs a Toys for Tots drive during the Christmas season.
Business professionals can benefit from joining the committee in the form of new business, Bray said: “We believe getting like- minded individuals who strive to be leaders in the community into the same room will result in the natural byproduct of doing business together.”
