                    CORNWALL
Families with sensible priorities will approve of Cornwall’s stacked resume. Its school district is ranked among the
ORANGE COUNTY
best in the state (ranked 97 out of 675 on Niche’s 2019 Best School Dis- tricts list) and the town is ranked 14th on Value Penguin’s list of the 2016 Safest Places in New York. Families
can feel at peace in the warm blanket of the Norman Rockwell-esque village while having access to outstanding out- door recreation, and a thriving dining and cultural scene a stone’s throw away in Newburgh.
When residents aren’t interacting on the streets of the village, they are crossing paths in the outdoors. On a warm day roads are filled with kayak-topped SUVs headed to the river, and Subarus headed to Storm King Mountain or Black Rock Forest.

      WARWICK
Warwick has always been a town that centers around the harvest. It is home to the best apple picking in the state and one of the most extensive wine regions in the Valley. The peak of apple season is ushered in each year with the enor- mous apple festival that draws more than 30,000 people from around the Valley and across state lines. The village presents its best self to the outside world in this open house of sorts. After the crowds disperse, locals are able to bask in their little private paradise happily undisturbed.
Warwick manages to remain insulated and preserve its small town character by keeping hectic big business out and al- lowing its residents to enjoy the ideal multitude of slower pleasures, including outstanding restaurants, bars, and even a drive-in movie theater. There are is also an array of hiking and biking opportuni- ties, and of course the various events the orchards and wineries host.
Families looking to settle in town can rest assured their children will be getting a solid education at the Warwick Valley
Central School District. The housing mar- ket is somewhat thin, but with enough diligence, a charming three-bedroom, two-bath Colonial near the town center can be had for a bit over median.

Warwick maintains its small-town character, but is big on things to do. Residents enjoy an abundance of community events and the annual apple festival shows off the town’s best.
