American Campus Communities – Delaware State University, Tubman-Laws Hall
This 189,000-square-foot, build-to-suit project delivered in a public-private partnership with DSU, Wohlsen and American Campus Communities was constructed on
an extremely tight site with student activity occurring within 10 feet of the limit of disturbance line. Wohlsen’s talented management team successfully navigated the relocation of a web of communications and data lines for the courtyard, coordination of crane boom locations with Dover Air Force Base flight paths, and extreme rainfall amounts to deliver the project in a way that delighted both DSU and American Campus Communities.

GBUILD CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS
University of Delaware – Esports Arena
Gbuild worked closely with its client,
the University of Delaware, and the
project architect to create a state-of-
the-art Esports Arena for students and
the newly established UD Esports Team. The project involved the construction and installation of the latest gaming technology, a broadcast booth, a strategy room, and
a competition stage within the existing Perkins Student Center. The project was completed within an aggressive time frame, notably achieved a nearly 90% diversion of construction wastes from being landfilled and implemented an impressive air quality goal which was important since the project was completed in an occupied building.
