for Children NICU Expansion
Highly technical projects like the NICU require a “team approach” to design, build and
deliver a world-class product. HSC worked with Nemous/AIDHC and the design team throughout the Design Development. A full size mockup of the entire unit was achieved by building walls with 1” thick cardboard standing 6’ high, including a full mockup of patient rooms. This permitted staff to walk the flow of the unit before the final design was completed and accepted. Working with a world-renowned facility requires state-of-the-art materials, equipment and technologies. The team managed all the technical aspects to create an amazing clinical NICU environment, and work was completed with no lost-time injuries.
