Parris Duncan, also known as Jet Phynx, is a rapper, director and cinematographer. In 2016, he decided to lean into his keen eye for visuals and ear for sounds to start his own film studio. In its first year, Jet Phynx Films released 150 high-quality music videos. Beyond that, the company has worked on 900 social media campaigns and 2,100 video productions with clients like Zelle, ESPN, Delaware Art Museum, Miss USA Delaware, HBCU Week, Under Armor, Skechers and more. Phynx also founded Dirty Popcorn, a Black film festival to showcase aspiring filmmakers from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or New York.
Chris Rausch

Cape Gazette
A Delaware native, Chris Rausch has worked in Delaware media for more than two decades, starting with a short time at WBOC. In 2003, he started working at the Cape Gazette and has never left. At the end of 2021, Rausch bought the Cape Gazette, which sells more than 23,000 copies each week in Sussex County’s beach communities. The Cape Gazette’s online readership has also hit an all-time high in 2021, with 25 million page views and 4.5 million unique visitors to the website. The newspaper now employs 20 full-time staff members along with contractors.
