  30 | GIVING GUIDE 2021
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Spectrum Designs is a full-service custom apparel and promotional products business that employs young adults on the Autism Spectrum. Since its inception, Spectrum’s combined businesses have provided 100,000+ hours of paid work for these individuals with total wages adding up to over $1.5M. At Spectrum, over 50% of
the workforce is comprised of individuals on the Autism Spectrum whom are paid at least minimum wage. Our successful model of turning trainees into taxpayers creates an environment that allows both our employees and the economy to prosper.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
As a nonprofit, 100% of sales proceeds go to furthering our mission. Our clients and donors make a tremendous impact, allowing us to provide more paying jobs to New Yorkers with disabilities who have untapped and under- appreciated gifts. Together, let’s dispel the harmful myths surrounding those of differing abilities in the workplace.
