Alex Sze, who’s worked at Citronelle in Washington, DC, and Adour in Manhattan, is now in the kitchen at his own New American eatery. On the menu: mac ‘n’ cheese with cheddar, Parmesan, and fontina; slow-roasted pork with shaved fennel; and salmon with lentils in a red wine sauce. Desserts, like passion fruit tart, are house-baked. In the space that once housed Blue Moon (and, before that, the upscale organic Bloom) is this New American restaurant with an eco-friendly décor. On the menu: lemon-asparagus risotto, monkfish in a white-wine- and-herb-butter sauce, cold Asian noodle salad, and a grilled sliced hanger steak. Separate bar and vegetarian menus also are offered. Lunch is served weekdays, brunch on Sundays, and dinner is served every day. $$ New American
