JASON LANDAU Amazing Spaces
ARMONK The existing bathroom was a typical early-’90s design, complete with platform whirlpool tub, beige travertine tile, and shiny-brass trim. It was a large space, but the layout needed to be reworked. The clients wanted a more contemporary aesthetic with a larger shower, two sinks, water closet, and dedicated makeup area. They were willing to give up the tub to accomplish the new layout. The team closed a window and shifted the entry door allowing them to rearrange the room. The design inspiration came from a silver-blue travertine tile that was balanced with white Glassos and warm wood tones. The curbless shower maximizes the floor and keeps the bathroom light and airy.

HARTSDALE At just 41 square feet, this bathroom feels clean and surprisingly spacious. Designed for a teenage boy, the black-and-white palette is both masculine and timeless. Using an eye-catching marble mosaic on the floor and only one shower wall prevents the space from feeling closed in. Cleverly positioned storage with a recessed medicine cabinet keeps clutter at bay, and a wall mounted robe hook keeps towels within reach. A wooden vanity adds warmth.
