RYE This young family moved from NYC to the suburbs without furniture, so the team started with a blank slate. The home has high ceilings and a coastal view, so the proximity to the Long Island Sound was the inspiration. Since the client loves pinks and blues and wanted a coastal aesthetic, the team blended the Nantucket style of the home with the
color palette. They created a light and airy vibe that includes family-friendly fabrics but doesn’t scream “kids live here.” Because the space is so grand, they opted for large, textured lighting and furniture to fill the negative space and create cozy zones.

ARMONK This modern, open great room was a dream-come-true addition
to this Armonk home. Built around a wall of windows overseeing the backyard, this open living space has now become the heart of the home. Carbon black stone surrounds the fireplace along with a large Apparatus chandelier that helps draw the eye to the peaked ceiling. An oversized U-shaped sofa and custom lacquered-lined wrapped cocktail tables from Tailored Home in Greenwich are inviting, along with the artwork and accessories that all add special details.
