HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
WJCS serves the diverse needs of 20,000 Westchester residents of all ages and backgrounds every year. We offer 100+ programs, including mental health services at 16 behavioral health clinics, evidence-based trauma treatment for child and adult survivors of sexual abuse, LGBTQIA+ youth support
and education, child development and early literacy, case management, resources and social activities to help seniors age safely at home, and spiritual and cultural enrichment for the Westchester Jewish community.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Your donation provides vital funding for services to people in need of mental health, trauma, disability, aging, early literacy and education, and LGBTQIA+ support. We are grateful for individual donations, monthly giving, matching gifts, IRAs, wills and bequests, corporate sponsorships, as well as donations to our Back-to-School and Holiday Toy Drives.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
WJCS has over 150 active volunteers. Based on their interests and skills, volunteers are matched with one of the many WJCS programs, including: after- school enrichment, ParentChild Center, LGBTQIA+ Center Lane, Compeer, and Marketing. Bar and Bat Mitzvah youth also volunteer in community projects.
