I was a terrified single mom who had been at the hospital nonstop with my daughter for nine days. I had no food, no clean clothes, and no products to shower. The Ronald McDonald House services have been a life saver for me.

HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Ronald McDonald House of the Greater
Hudson Valley (RMHGHV) provides hope,
help, and a home-away-from-home to families
of children requiring critical care. Located on
the campus of Westchester Medical Center in
Valhalla, the 12-bedroom House is just steps
away from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and
provides overnight accommodations, respite
services, meals, and other support programs and services to families while their child receives the medical care they need. To date, we have provided support to more than 2,500 families while their child received medical care locally and because dealing with a sick child is hard enough, families are never required to pay for services they receive.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
We rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations to sustain our operations and continue providing families with all the comforts of home during their child’s medical crisis. Gifts of any amount are appreciated and can be be given in various ways: Individual or monthly contributions. Online or by mail; Through stocks, Donor Advised Funds and retirement assets; Planned estate giving; and In-Kind gifts from our Wishlist.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers provide support to families, making their days a little easier and comforting them in their time of need. Opportunities include:
• Meals that Heal, where you’ll prepare and serve families a comforting meal; • Reception or House Help, where you’ll support the staff and help provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment for families.
Contact us or visit our website to see all of our individual and group volunteer opportunities.
