HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Support Connection has a unique model. Our
organization is staffed with professional Peer
Counselors, cancer survivors themselves.
They know how it feels to hear the words “you
have cancer,” which makes all the difference
in the world. Our counselors provide
personalized, empathetic support by phone
and e-mail. They help find resources and information to answer your questions and meet your needs. They also facilitate support groups, plan and implement wellness and educational programs, ensuring that each program is presented from the point of view of someone who has experienced cancer.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Make a donation on our website, www.supportconnection.org, participate in our events; Annual Benefit, Golf Outing, and our Support-A-Walk. The Support-A- Walk, our largest community event, helps raise awareness about our services and funds for our free, year-round breast, ovarian, or other gynecological cancer support services.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
To help with community outreach, special events, Support-A-Walk, at our
store — Fantastic Finds, or to organize your own awareness event to raise funds to benefit Support Connection, please submit the volunteer form on our website, or call us at 914.962.6402.
