    BRANDYWINE CHRISTMAS
The Brandywine River Museum of Art’s Christmas extravaganza has been a Delco family favorite since the ’70s. You’ll lose “track” of time (sorry) marveling at a model train display that consists of more than 1,000 pieces, including locomotive, passenger and freight trains, and trolleys. Another highlight are
the towering trees decorated with distinctive critter ornaments. The critters are handmade by volunteers using natural materials, so no two look exactly
the same!
 FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
Each December, Rose Tree Park in Upper Providence Township sparkles to life with more than 75 lighted trees and dozens of festive figures, including toy soldiers, a gingerbread family and Santa’s reindeer. Admission and parking are free, so you can save your funds for some hot chocolate to help you warm up after your walk!
 SANTA’S PARADE IN MEDIA
Media goes all out for this annual parade down State Street — think not just Santa and his reindeer, but mummers, floats, music, classic cars, drum corps and lots of other surprises. There’s also a block party and a fun run! The 2021 event is scheduled for November 28.
 CHRISTMAS AROUND THE FARM
Each year, the Garden Center at Linvilla Orchards transforms into a Winter Wonderland featuring Santa
and his elves, handmade wreaths and a sea of poinsettias. Visit with Santa, shop for ornaments and other gifts, or, if you’re feeling adventurous, cut your own Christmas tree!
 HEDGEROW THEATRE’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Charles Dickens’ tale of an old miser who learns the error of his ways with the help of four ghosts is a Christmas classic everywhere of course, but here in Delco, Hedgerow’s moving, exciting performance is a must-see!
