JOHN ROBERT CELLARS
This urban winery in Essington doesn’t grow its own grapes, but rather sources them from all over the world. Patrons can bring their own snacks or enjoy a house-made cheese plate with their wine tasting. Stop by on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m. for happy hour specials!
CHADDSFORD WINERY
Chaddsford is technically in Chester County, but don’t let that scare you away! It’s one of Pennsylvania’s most acclaimed wineries, but its focus on approachable, easily paired tastes makes it a good choice for less experienced wine drinkers too. The main location in Chadds Ford is open for both reservation-
based experiences and more casual walk-in seating, while the Peddler’s Village Tasting room in Lahaska welcomes both in-store shoppers
and those who prefer to place walk-up orders for wine by the bottle or glass.
