Elmwood Park Zoo
You may as well not even bother putting your phone back in your pocket as you tour this charming zoo; there are moments to be captured everywhere. The little ones can ride a carousel or a mini train ride, and there are bison to feed. A new jaguar exhibit, designed by the same team that created Disney’s Animal Kingdom, opens in 2017.

Green Lane Park
Trails, trees, meadows and three bodies of water will make fans of nature photography go wild. Green Lane Park is home to wildflowers that sway in spring breezes, the full array of colorful fall foliage and the quiet, white solitude of winter.

Colebrookdale Railroad
The nine-mile trip from Boyertown to Pottstown and back again passes through some of the most tranquil, secluded and restful acreage in the entire county. When you’re done taking pictures of the landscape, capture a few selfies in the lovingly restored café and passenger cars.
