A Liebherr Model 500 S mobile harbor crane is put into service at “B” berth. The versatile crane is the largest of its kind on the East Coast.
For the first time in its history, Rukert expands operations beyond Baltimore City with the purchase of a warehouse on 11 acres in
Dundalk, called the Grays
Road Facility.
In its largest acquisition ever, Rukert Terminals purchases two warehouses on 33 acres of land at the Point Breeze industrial center, two miles from Rukert’s main office.
Rukert Terminals reaches its ultimate milestone and celebrates 100 years of bringing the
world to Baltimore!
Rukert unveils its new 950-foot “B” berth pier. The pier is designed to last 100 years and has a dredge depth of 50 feet, making it the deepest in the Port of Baltimore.
