   Rukert Terminals erects a PECO high-speed bulk unloading crane on its newly extended Pier 5.
After four months of construction, the third generation of the Rukert family dedicates a replica of the historic Lazaretto Lighthouse to the memory of Norman Rukert Sr.
Rukert Terminals acquires 28 acres of land and several buildings located just north of Pier 5 and contiguous to the rest of the terminal.
Four years after acquiring 11 acres of property
from Lebanon Chemical, Rukert Terminals expands Lazaretto Terminal further by purchasing an additional 11 acres from the Agrico Corporation.
    Expansion continues
as Rukert purchases an additional 22 acres of property in Canton from Consolidated Rail. The parcel includes the historic Canton Coal Pier.
