  PLAZA COLLEGE
Forest Hills
Founded in 1916, Plaza College is a regionally-accredited (Middle States Commission on Higher Education) college located in Forest Hills. Plaza’s Schools of Allied Health, Business & Technology, Dental Sciences, and Legal Studies offer programs that are in demand, with many of them holding specialized accreditations that employers look for when hiring recent graduates.
VAUGHN COLLEGE OF AERONAUTICS AND TECHNOLOGY
East Elmhurst
Adjacent to LaGuardia Airport, Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology offers master’s, bachelor’s and associate degree programs in engineering, technology, management and aviation. The college is also designated by the FAA as a Collegiate Training Institute and offers a non-degree air traffic control program for those wishing to pursue a career in this field. Vaughn offers certificate programs in air traffic control, aircraft maintenance and aircraft dispatch.
Molloy College
Rockville Centre
With approximately 5,000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, Molloy College offers new facilities, including two residence halls, a student center and a performing arts theatre, to enhance the student experience. With its recently-expanded international education program, over 60 clubs and honor societies, ample service opportunities, internships and NCAA Division II sports teams, Molloy College offers students abundant opportunities to explore new interests, pursue athletics like lacrosse, basketball, baseball and soccer and enrich the local community, on Long Island and around the globe.
“Like most colleges, Molloy had to adjust the second the pandemic forced the college to shut down in March 2020. Molloy responded immediately with a strong increase in online offerings for its students, in addition to all the safety measures that the college implemented,” says Edward Thompson, Vice President for Advancement, Molloy College.
“Based in Rockville Centre on Long Island, we’re very close to Queens and historically have drawn
a significant percentage of its student population from this borough. Molloy is pleased to be working with the Queens Chamber of Commerce to reach the many Queens residents who are interested in Molloy’s academic offerings.”
