New Ro/Ro Facility Now Open for Business
On November 2, Maryland Port Administration Executive Director William P. Doyle helped cut the ribbon for a new Wallenius Wilhelmsen roll-on/roll-off (ro/ro)
processing facility that will service agricultural machinery company Kubota. Also attending the event were Richard Heintzelman, Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s VP Sales North America; Alex Woods, Kubota’s VP, Sales Operations, Supply Chain and Parts; and Robert Davy, Kubota’s Director of Supply Chain Operations. The Port of Baltimore handles more ro/ro than any other U.S. port.
