Members of the North Carolina Forestry Association Strategic Planning Committee and the NCFA staff met on April 1 and 2 to develop a strategic plan for the organization for the next three to five years.
The committee used feedback from a survey of the full Board of Directors to develop several goals that the association will focus on in the coming years. The NCFA hired a professional nonprofit consulting firm, Association Options, to facilitate discussions. We at NCFA appreciate their support in planning, coordinating, and facilitating this session. We would also like to thank the Board of Directors and the members of the strategic planning committee, listed to the right. The Board of Directors approved the strategic plan at the June 10 meeting in Raleigh, NC.
