In Milford, the Mispillion Art League offers class- es and exhibits too. Shows include the seasonally themed “Flowers Don’t Tell... They Show!” and “Odd & Unexpected.”
While you’re in town, experience art outdoors on the Milford Art Stroll! Along the town’s Riverwalk and historic “Augusta” yacht that was built in 1927 at Milford’s Vinyard Shipyard. (The original “Augusta,” lovingly restored, is still on display there!)
Art and architecture intersect at Smyrna Opera House, a historic gem originally built in 1870 and now fully restored. The opera house has plenty of performances scheduled, including tributes to Motown and Linda Ronstadt.
The Second Street Players at the Riverfront Theater
in Milford present several popular favorites including “Oliver!” and “Murder on the Orient Express,” as well as children’s performances such as “Sally Cotter and The
Quest We Follow” and “The Big Bad Musical.”
In Dover, The Children’s Theatre, Inc. stages shows throughout the year including “The Wizard of Oz” and “Princess and the Pea” in the spring. Check the website for updates on performances!
