MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
“Something else we recently started
doing is representing talent,” Olson said.
“So in addition to brands, we represent
influencers, bloggers and reality TV
stars, getting them brand deals and
collaborations.”
A personal passion project for Olson is
The Preppy Podcast, which publishes
new episodes each Tuesday on the major
podcast platforms. “I interview different
entrepreneurs who are keeping the modern
preppy lifestyle alive,” Olson said. “I love
learning about entrepreneurship and how
people got started.”
Olson also has plans to launch a new
organization that will be called the
Suburban Soiree Social Club. “Members
get to go to at least one event a month.
It’s more of a fun thing, but you might also
network or make friends.” Already planned
events include a succulent workshop and a
cycle ride. Members of the social club will
also get exclusive discounts and gift cards
for local businesses.

ROW PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES:
Quality Care for the Underserved
Following years of working with
underserved populations in New York
City, Rosemary Fordjour followed a job
offer to Pennsylvania a few years before
COVID. That position enabled her to
provide psychiatric support to children, but
Fordjour also saw an opening in the market
to better serve other marginalized residents
of Chester County with mental healthcare.
“There are a lot of psychiatric practices,
but most of them are private-paid. There
is a vast number of individuals in the
community that live below the poverty
level, so these practices aren’t accessible to
them for financial reasons,” Fordjour said. “I
wanted to bridge that gap.”
Initially, Fordjour felt she lacked the know-
how to start her own business. But then
COVID happened. “The pandemic was
what actually made me take the chance
to go into business for myself,” she said.
“The pandemic was a time when demand
for mental healthcare peaked. When life
stood still, many of us were able to assess
our mental state and decide to go see
somebody.”
ROW (short for Rosemary’s Own World)
Psychiatric Services started in late 2020 in
a small office space of less than 100 square
feet. Today, ROW’s space has grown to 6,800
square feet, with four nurse practitioners,
seven therapists and two support staff.
ROW proudly accepts CHIP, Medical
Assistance, Community Care Behavioral
Health (CCBH), Health Partners and most
major insurance plans.

“We’ve also expanded the services we
provide,” Fordjour said. The mission of
providing high-quality care to patients of
limited means remains at ROW’s core, but
its offerings have grown to include one of
only two psychiatric programs for children
in the Philadelphia area.
“We are deeply committed to the
principles of prevention and equity,” said
Fordjour. “Our preventive approach aims
to address mental health concerns early,
reducing the risk of more severe issues
developing over time. By focusing on early
intervention, we strive to equip individuals
with the tools and strategies they need to
manage their mental health proactively.”
For its next growth step, ROW is working
to collaborate with community nonprofits
to provide more comprehensive services,
such as to previously incarcerated
women. “While the nonprofit provides
housing and stability, we’re trying to
manage their mental health,” Fordjour
said. ROW is also collaborating with
the YMCA of Greater Brandywine on
children’s programming. “We are teaching
them how to manage their emotions on
a very fundamental level,” Fordjour said.
“We can mitigate a lot of future problems
this way.”
All through its growth, ROW plans to stay
true to its mission: “to foster emotional
wellness and resilience in individuals
of all ages through a holistic approach
that emphasizes prevention, equity and
personalized care.”
