CHESTER COUNTY CHAMBER
Looking Ahead...
2020 and 2021 were a time of change. The Chester County Chamber, like so many of you, made big plans for both years that fell by the wayside. As our lives move forward and we hopefully leave this pandemic behind, the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry has been focusing on getting back to a “new” normal.
With a renewed enthusiasm and a very proactive vision, we are forging ahead with our quest to achieve our 2022 goals:
• Recruit, retain and deliver greater value to our members
• Provide members with opportunities, services and benefits to support their success
• Identify barriers to economic development and become part of
the solution by hosting informative roundtables, forums and events with our regional partners
• Promote the Chamber’s role in advocating for Chester County residents and businesses by building collaborative relationships with elected officials at all levels of government
• Be the leader in Chester County for business advocacy and networking
• Re-engage our youth and promote workforce retention through the Youth Leadership Program
As we move forward, we will continue to host our networking events for our members and signature fundraising events, such as the State of the County Legislative Breakfast, Foundation Summer Solstice Event, Women Influencing Business Awards Dinner, and the Applebrook Golf Outing. Our Business After Hours (BAH) events have been growing in popularity and attendance.
The Chamber will continue its efforts to engage members and the community through its websites, social media platforms, electronic newsletters, print newsletters and mailings, and email communication. These outlets allow the Chamber to remain on the cutting edge of digital communications as
well as provide traditional forms of communication to our membership. We are looking to completely revamp our website in 2022 to be an even greater resource to our members.
We will continue to add initiatives to promote and advance your business interests by providing opportunities for
networking, visibility and credibility, celebrating success, advocating for your business interests, and supporting the economic growth of our community. The creativity that has been required
in the last two years because of the pandemic has been inspiring. Our staff, board, committee chairs and all of
our volunteers are to be commended. Thank you for all your time and effort. It has not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
On behalf of Chamber staff and the Board of Directors, we would like to thank all of our members for their commitment to the Chamber. We encourage every member business and their employees to participate in as many Chamber events and programs
as they can. The participation of each and every business is appreciated and essential to the continued success of this organization.
We are very excited for the future of this Chamber and grateful for having the opportunity to serve our members.
