Networking group helps Chamber members build relationships, share ideas
Are you looking for an easy way to make meaningful connections with other local businesses and get advice on common business challenges? Look no further than the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s GROW Group.
Typical GROW Meeting where members build relationships and get to know each other better. Left to right sitting: Paul McClatchy (Sterling Advisors), Brenda Russell (Fiorenza’s Food For Friends), Michael Delaney (Delaney Management), Kathlene Hanick (Century 21 Absolute Realty), Rose Smith (The Alicat Café). Left to right standing: Joshua Schricker (Eastern Technology Services), Jessica Burger (uFinancial Group), Bruce Kirk (Vision 2 Victory), Roger Dwyer (Countrymanimages LLC).
GROW — short for Growth, Relationships and Opportunities that Work — meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the Chamber’s office in Malvern. The group’s purpose is to provide a forum where member businesses can form relationships, share ideas and receive recommendations. GROW Group members also engage in community service together, through the group’s involvement
with West Chester University’s Resource Pantry. (In the past year, the group has donated a freezer, various nonperishable food and personal-care items, and cash collected at CCCBI’s annual BBQ.)
Each meeting includes networking time and opportunities to introduce your business to the group. Businesses can also share challenges or successes they have experienced and solicit feedback during
so-called VIP (Victory, Inspiration, Problem) discussions, which take place at the fourth Wednesday meetings
of each month.
