Build an environment that encourages business to grow and prosper within the thriving Greater Bethesda region.
VISION:
The Greater Bethesda region will be the best place to work, live and play in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
Our Chamber supports its members by providing both a voice and a forum to help shape public policy and enhance opportunities for exposure, connections and growth.
Our responsibility is to lead by example, holding ourselves to the highest governance principles, ethical standards and business practices.
GOALS:
• EstablishtheGreaterBethesdaregionasaseamlessplace to do business and solidify the Chamber as its preeminent advocate.
• ChangethebusinessenvironmentinMontgomeryCounty to a culture of “yes.”
• Inspire Chamber member engagement with new and improved events.
• Position the Chamber as dynamic, nimble and relevant to the diverse range of businesses and employees that work, live and play in our region.
• Design a succession plan to promote a pipeline for inclusion and diversity in leadership.
Cooperative Partnerships
The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce maintains a persistent voice throughout the community. By forming strategic partnerships with local organizations, the Chamber can better serve its members by advocating on their behalf and representing their interests throughout the area. Chamber of Commerce Forum Club 2017
The Forum Club, established in 1982, is an exclusive group of members dedicated to the strength of The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce. Forum Club members have shown their Chamber above and beyond their normal dues and responsibilities These funds are used to build the Chamber’s capital reserves, allowing the Chamber to deliver exceptional member service. In addition to the Annual Forum Club Dinner, members are invited to a collection of special C-level events throughout the year. Below is the current membership of the Forum Club:

MCMDBiz: In order to best advocate for our members and the Greater Bethesda community, the Chamber is an active partner with the Montgomery County Business Coalition (MCMDBiz) which is comprised of local chambers of commerce and business organizations that work together to advocate and promote
the overall growth and success of the community.
MCEAC: Maryland Chamber Executive Advisory Council (MCEAC), led by the Maryland Chamber, is a partnership of chambers of commerce throughout the state that promote economic advancement, pro-growth policies and competitiveness in Maryland.
