Little Creek Boat Ramp
This fishing pier and boat ramp construction project was an important element in keeping the Town of Little Creek’s maritime history alive and attracting more tourists. An added bonus was that Little Creek Fire Company now has a boat launch to assist in fire and emergency rescues for the shipping traffic that goes up and down the coast. The project, which encountered challenges due to extremely poor soil conditions, tidal flooding and design modifications was completed in less than one year.

The primary challenge on this project was to work within an occupied facility that also had been recently renovated with finishes. Gbuild worked to cause as little disturbance as possible. Lastly, on this project, there was the task of keeping
all subcontractors and team members working together and on schedule through various shutdown delays.
