Residences at Mid-town Park
The Mid-town apartments by BPGS Construction is a mixed-use project that exhibits a quality urban infill project to bring residential back into the city. The construction, completed in the heart of
the city, overcame logistics of a five-story underground garage, at-grade retail and an elevated skybridge without the use of on-site laydown or material storage. The building of this project was complicated by the design’s three construction types to accommodate the code requirements of each use (garage,
retail, residential). This project was partially financed by HUD which added a layer of approvals and inspections to bring it in on-schedule and within budget.

Phillips Landing Boat Ramp
at Nanticoke Wildlife Area
This new boat ramp with floating docks at Phillips Landing was designed to improve boater access to Broad Creek and the Nanticoke River and to accommodate the high boater demand. The project involved working on
a heavily used boat launch and had to be completed on an accelerated schedule to work around fishery restrictions and annual fishing tournaments. Even with additions to the project scope by the owner, the project was completed on time. The newly installed aluminum sheet pile sea walls associated with the new ramp design provides protection from the strong side currents. Other work items included asphalt pavement reconstruction, stone pathways, kayak/small vessel ramp, permanent signage, restroom facility upgrades and tree pruning/removal.
