Bayhealth Health Campus Project
This extensive infrastructure construction project supported
the building of the new 165-acre Bayhealth Hospital in Sussex County. The sitework portion of the project encompassed more than 1,100 parking spots and all the infrastructure needed to connect to the DelDOT roadways. The hospital has parking and other storage below grade and there was
a concern that excessive rain or an unusually high water table could cause damage. A storm-water pump station was built and is currently pumping nearly daily to help control the groundwater surrounding the building. While sanitary sewer pump stations are very common, the storm-water type are an anomaly.

This residence was a successful combination of modern technology and reclaimed materials to develop the look of an early-American home. The use of select materials and attention to detail in finishes make this home a remarkable project. Dewson uses consistent communication and collaboration with the owner, design team
and talented craftsmen to deliver the project with 21st-century accoutrement inside a vision of a classic 18th-century farmhouse.
