SNUFF MILL RESTAURANT,
BUTCHERY & WINE BAR
Located just north of Wilmington, Snuff Mill opened in 2021 to great fanfare and reviews. Led by partners Bill Irvin, Dave Govatos and chef Bill Lhulier, the restaurant offers succulent dry-aged New York strip, seared prime ribeyes, tender filet mignons and inventive steakfrites paired with
one of the best wine menus in the state. It was named Restaurant of the Year by the Delaware Restaurant Association in 2022.
DOGFISH HEAD BREWERY
Located just off Delaware Route 1 in Milton is one of the microbreweries that turned the American brewing industry on its head with its inventive beers that used novel ingredients, dredged up centuries-old recipes added new charities and causes to their offerings. While Dogfish Head may now be a Boston Beer Company brand, the original brewery is still located in Milton where founder

Opened in a historic downtown Lewes mansion by owner Meghan Lee in 2015, Heirloom has offered carefully selected menus of local provisions since day one. The restaurant features a menu that changes each season. It’s become a must-go stop for a culinary tour of Delaware’s beach communities, having earned back-to-back James Beard Award nominations in 2019 and 2020.
RAAS
The 2019 opening of Raas brought an infusion of high-quality Indian cuisine to the beach communities. Led by chef Gyanendra “GG” Gupta, the Lewes restaurant has developed a loyal fan base and rave reviews for his creative take on the South Asian cuisine. It’s been named the best downstate Indian restaurant in Delaware for the last two years by Delaware Today magazine.
