As a lifelong Delawarean, Jerry DuPhily started to party in Wilmington as
a University of Delaware student.
That served as a starting point when he eventually launched a career in entertainment magazines like Out & About Magazine, launching parties and special events as his own under Event Allies. Among the many events DuPhily has created to shape the state’s nightlife include the Wilmington Grand Prix, City Restaurant Week, Separation Day, Delaware Beer Wine
& Spirits Festival, Newark Food & Brew Festival, City Loop Series, and Wilmington Beer Week.

Mike Feeley

Mike Feeley is a veteran news executive who has led the newsroom of The News Journal, Delaware’s largest circulation newspaper, since 2018. Prior to coming to Delaware, Feeley was one of the leaders of the reporting team that won the 2012 Pulitzer
Prize for local reporting on the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal at Penn State University. He started his career at the Press-Enterprise in Bloomsburg, Pa., before moving to The Patriot-News and PennLive in 1989. In 2021, he was named a regional editor of Gannett’s newsrooms in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
