Lifelong Delawarean Chris Buccini,
along with his brother Rob and
business partner Dave Pollin, has
left his mark through billions of
dollars in developments, primarily
in his hometown of Wilmington.
As leader of the fi rm’s commercial
management affi liate, BPG Real
Estate Services, Buccini has overseen
major renovations of its downtown
offi ce buildings and rolled out a new
redevelopment plan for its Market
West campus, including the former
Brandywine, Nemours and DuPont
buildings. He also has been overseeing
the redevelopment of Th e Concord into
a mixed-use campus in Wilmington’s
Brandywine Hundred suburbs.

Louis Capano III
Capano Management
Louis Capano III is a third-generation
real estate developer that oversees
Capano Management’s real estate
investments, from asset acquisition,
management to construction and sales
and leasing. With 3 million square
feet of offi ce and retail assets under
management and more than 8,000
multifamily units developed or under
construction, Capano has built one
of the largest development fi rms in
Delaware with projects like Th e Falls
and Th e Reserve at South Ridge. As a
hands-on CEO, he has also paved the
way for Capano Management to branch
out to Pennsylvania, Maryland and
Florida. Outside the fi rm, his family’s
charitable foundation has also donated
more than $6 million to local causes.

Since co-founding Buccini/Pollin
Group with his brother Chris and
business partner Dave Pollin, Rob
Buccini has grown the company to
over $6 billion in transactions and
ownership of 6 million square feet of
offi ce and retail space, over 10,000
hotel rooms, 3,500 apartments and four
live entertainment venues. He leads
BPG’s residential, commercial, retail,
parking, sports and entertainment
development activities, including
building the Chase Fieldhouse in
Wilmington. With the completion of
Crosby Hill, the fi rst new apartment
building built in Wilmington in many
years, he's turned his attention to two
other projects. Th at includes the Press,
a 14-story apartment complex, which
completed its foundational work last
summer.

Ed Capodanno
Associated Builders and
Contractors, Delaware
Chapter
Ed Capodanno has been advocating
for Delaware’s contractors for 30
years, starting as president of the
Delaware Chapter of the Associated
Builders and Contractors, a nonprofi t
trade association that represents
commercial and industrial merit
shop contractors, in 1993. Th at role
includes lobbying state lawmakers on
changes benefi cial to the construction
industry and working with school
districts to enhance trade education
of future workers. Th at experience has
led him to be tapped for numerous
appointments to state task forces.
Outside of ABC, Capodanno has earned
service awards from the YMCA, Lions
Club and Special Olympics. After 30
years of service with the ABC Chapter
of Delaware, Capodanno announced
he intends to retire and will serve as a
consultant for the organization until
July 2025.
