HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Delaware Nature Society is renowned
for delivering nature-based educational
programming for children and adults and
inspiring communities with tools to
take-action to protect the environment.
We are a regional leader advocating on behalf
of important issues related to conservation,
land preservation, and the environment.
We manage over 2,000 acres of land
statewide and have staff in four locations
where we run public programs year-round: Ashland Nature Center
(Hockessin), Abbott’s Mill Nature Center (Milford), DuPont Environmental
Education Center at the Russell W. Peterson Urban Wildlife Refuge
(Wilmington); and Coverdale Farm Preserve (Greenville). We are the state
affi liate for the National Wildlife Federation.

Delaware Nature Society works to protect and preserve our environment.
