In the electrical $2-5 million category, Nickle Electrical Companies is awarded a Merit for the Delaware Army National Guard Maintenance Shop. This 62,000 sq. ft.
facility is a “one-stop shop” for military vehicle maintenance. The work included a 1,600-amp, 480-volt service with a 500-kilowatt backup generator. Plus, complete security, fire alarm, 60-kilowatt solar power, site lighting and gate security.
RALPH G. DEGLI OBIZZI & SONS
A Merit is awarded to Ralph G. Degli Obizzi & Sons in the mechanical under $2 million category for the Salesianum School Abessinio Center. The new stadium replaces the 100-year-old Baynard Stadium with a state-of-the-art 200,000 sq. ft. athletic and cultural venue with turf field. Degli Obizzi & Sons provided all of the HVAC and plumbing services for a 380-day completion.
