Richard Y. Johnson & Son is awarded a Merit in the
GC/CM $2-5 million category for the Automotive Center of Excellence at Delaware Tech. Because this project included a federal grant, very specific budget and schedule protocols had to be met while maintaining safety on the adjacent campus. The new facility provides state-of-the-art training for the next generation of automotive and diesel technicians.
SOBIESKI MECHANICAL
In the mechanical category $5-10 million a Merit is award to Sobieski Mechanical Contractors for Project Sophia Logistics Center. Sobieski was proud to be a part of
not only another local Delaware project, but one that revitalized an otherwise shuddered manufacturing facility bringing a company with a worldwide presence and thoughts of jobs to the state.
