RC FABRICATORS
RC Fabricators is presented an Excellence for 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue in Wilmington in
the Specialty Trade steel fabrication/erection. The project consisted of approximately 210,000 sq. ft of residential/commercial space with 169 apartments and 20,000 sq. ft. of retail space of
5 stories and two subterranean parking levels. Over 1,250 ton of steel, 188,000 sq. ft. of decking and two cranes were used to bring this mixed us modern chic revitalization to life in Wilmington.
SERVICE UNLIMITED
In the Mechanical Contractor under $2 million category,
Service Unlimited is awarded an Excellence for the St. Andrew’s School Amos Hall Chiller Replacement. The project included replacement of two existing 53-year old York 250-ton chillers with two new Carrier 250-ton chillers to not only serve Amos Hall, but also the adjacent Arts Building and Athletic Building.
NICKLE ELECTRICAL COMPANIES
Nickle Electrical Companies is honored with an Excellence in the Electrical under $2 million for the University of Delaware Life Science East Addition. Nickle installed brand new electrical service to the research facility’s laboratory addition and re-fed power to the existing building. Electricians successfully kept power up and running through construction, which was critical for research data collection, and were able to conquer 300 pages of special project specifications.
BPGS
BPGS is honored with an Excellence in the GC/CM $30-50 million category for The Concord, redevelopment of an existing commercial property. Work consisted of demolition of five commercial buildings, reconfiguration of drive lanes and parking, extensive sitework and creating new infrastructure to accommodate
166 new apartments while an office
complex was operating.
