In the Specialty category of carpentry, Master Interiors is presented with an Excellence for the Appoquinimink School District Fairview Campus. For work performed at Fairview, Master Interiors’ expertise resulted in excellence. Master Interiors anticipated safety, quality and schedule above and beyond the owners’ expectations and produced a facility that displays professionalism and state-of-the-art design.
BANCROFT CONSTRUCTION
Bancroft Construction his honored with an Excellence in the GC/CM category $10-20 million for the W.L. Gore Lovett Terminal C project. Situation between Terminal A and B, the new Terminal C facility has become a cornerstone of W.L. Gore’s Lovett campus. Each section
of the expertly designed 52,500sq. ft. provides endless opportunities for collaboration space between Gore associates.
THE WHITING-TURNER CONTRACTING COMPANY
In the GC/CM $50 million & over category, Whiting-Turner is honored with an Excellence for the Ammon Pinizzotto Biopharmaceutical Innovation Center. AP Bio is a 226,000 sq. ft. life science research facility that houses NIIMBL, the Delaware Biotechnology Institute and the University of Delaware Biomedical Engineering Department. The building is six floors with a seventh floor of prefabricated N=1 Central Utility Plant penthouse.
NICKLE ELECTRICAL COMPANIES
Nickle Electrical Companies is honored with
an Excellence for the Beebe Healthcare South Coastal Emergency Department & Cancer Center. Nickle provided the entire electrical system for Beebe’s new 42,000 sq. ft. South Coastal Center, which opened earlier this year. Utilizing BIM and pre-fabrication, electricians successfully installed 14 miles of conduit and pulled 57 miles of
wire and cable to power the facility.
